Why "as an attachment"? This is the only way the invisible technical headers of the original email are preserved. I need exactly those to reliably verify the sender and authenticity. Regular forwarding loses this data.
Note: Make sure you really choose "Forward as Attachment" – regular "Forward" (⇧ + ⌘ + F) loses the important technical headers.

Step by step

  1. 1 Select the suspicious email in the message list with one click.
  2. 2 Open the "Message" menu in the menu bar.
  3. 3 Choose "Forward as Attachment".
  4. 4 A new email opens with the original message attached.
  5. 5 Enter spam-check-en@moin-moin.it as the recipient and send it.

Doesn't work? You can also forward the suspicious email normally – the analysis will then be less conclusive, since I'm missing the technical headers. I therefore always recommend forwarding as an attachment whenever possible.
