Forward an email as an attachment
in T-Online (Webmail)
T-Online Email Center in the browser
β οΈ Only possible via a workaround
Why "as an attachment"? This is the only way the invisible technical headers of the original email are preserved. I need exactly those to reliably verify the sender and authenticity. Regular forwarding loses this data.
Note: The T-Online Email Center doesn't offer a direct "forward as attachment". If the save option isn't visible, use Thunderbird as an alternative.
Step by step
- 1 Open the suspicious email in the T-Online Email Center.
-
2
Click the More menu
β―in the top right and look for "Save email" or "Download as file". -
3
Write a new, empty email to
spam-check-en@moin-moin.it. -
4
Attach the saved
.emlfile and send it.
π‘ Tip: It's more convenient to set up your T-Online mailbox in Thunderbird (free, IMAP/POP3) and send the email as an attachment from there.
Forwarding address

You'll receive an automatic assessment shortly after. Β· My terms of use apply. terms of use (DE)
Doesn't work? You can also forward the suspicious email normally β the analysis will then be less conclusive, since I'm missing the technical headers. I therefore always recommend forwarding as an attachment whenever possible.
