Why "as an attachment"? This is the only way the invisible technical headers of the original email are preserved. I need exactly those to reliably verify the sender and authenticity. Regular forwarding loses this data.

Step by step

  1. 1 Open outlook.com in the browser and open the suspicious email.
  2. 2 Click the ⋯ icon ("More actions") in the top right of the message.
  3. 3 Choose "Forward as attachment".
  4. 4 Enter spam-check-en@moin-moin.it as the recipient and send the email.
💡 Tip: The same steps also apply to the new Outlook app for Windows – both share the same interface.

Doesn't work? You can also forward the suspicious email normally – the analysis will then be less conclusive, since I'm missing the technical headers. I therefore always recommend forwarding as an attachment whenever possible.
